We decided to book the Rollex Band and I am so glad we did!! For someone who didn't even know if I wanted a band, I could not have imagined our wedding without it. The dance floor was packed ALL NIGHT and everyone kept telling us how amazing our band was!! Our guests were telling us our wedding was the most fun wedding they'd ever been to, and that was because of the Rollex Band. They listened to our music preferences and played an amazing variety of music. Throughout the entire process Kevin was so helpful and great to work with. During the actual reception every band member was professional and kind. The last song was a moment my husband and I will never forget and it was one of the highlights of our reception. If you are looking for a wedding band, BOOK ROLLEX!! Just do it! You will not regret it.. but your feet and legs will be sore for days after from all of the dancing!! They were so great to work with throughout the whole experience and accommodated any request I had! Their energy on stage is incredible, and they know how to keep the party going. They threw the best party and our family and friends can't stop talking about how much fun they had and how much they danced at our wedding. We have seen a lot of different wedding bands, and I'm so happy that we had the BEST for our wedding. I have never seen a more talented band that kept people of all ages dancing all night long. Hearing how much fun our guests had at our wedding was the biggest compliment. Kevin was super accommodating in working with us leading up to the wedding. We actually hadn't seen them live before, so he was great about answering all our questions, learning our tastes & preferences, and working with our reception timeline. I really can't thank him enough for helping us throw such a great party. Rollex's rates are incredibly reasonable for how unbelievable they are. We also added on the DJ option for the ceremony & cocktail hour which worked pretty well. We had a couple brief hiccups with the ceremony song not looping, but everyone had too much fun to remember or notice. I'd highly recommend booking Rollex ASAP if you want you & your guests to have a ton of fun at your wedding while being blown away by some incredibly talented musicians. Rollex is the BEST! Maurine Simon, married on 06/29/2019 We really wanted Rollex for our daughter's wedding. They had played at both of my niece's weddings and rocked the parties. Unfortunately when we first inquired her date was already taken. However when we finalized our contract with the wedding venue I thought it'd try again and lo and behold the bride had switched to another date. It was meant to be! Kevin was so easy to work with. He made sure we gave him everything he needed before the wedding weekend so we could feel completely relaxed once we arrived. We had the 7 piece band with a pianist for the cocktail hour and their DJ for the ceremony. They mic'd the officiant and the groom and played music for the same price the hotel would have charged us for a microphone. We provided them with the ten hot meals they requested and they gave us a night to remember! They kept the dance floor hopping all night and our guests were raving about the band. The band listened to our requests and executed our vision perfectly. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who is interested in a fun, energetic, talented band! As two DC locals, we were delighted to find they had go go in their repertoire as well! Kevin was amazing to work with from the start. He was professional and clear as to his band's services and capabilities, and the process with which we should proceed to help him shape a custom night. We had a lot of specific ideas and he was down to make them all happen. We can't imagine anyone else working so well with our vision! All night long I was asked where we found the band. People were so into it the floor was crowded before the entrees even came out! The musicianship was incredible and they did just the right amount of interacting with the crowd. The energy they bring is hard to describe and videos don't do them justice. From the get-go Kevin made us feel comfortable and we were confident they were going to rock the house. The music was outstanding and the kindness and graciousness of the band members only added to the joy we all took in hearing their music. Wedding: 05/19/2018 As a wedding planner Kevin was great to work with. He was very responsive to emails and calls. He offered solutions to concerns and provided the energy and fabulous music and entertainment to keep the dance floor packed right up to the last second! Wedding: 05/05/2018 We hired the Rollex Band for our April 2018 wedding, and they were phenomenal. I actually confirmed that they could play on our wedding date before I booked our event venue. I did so completely blindly - I had never heard them perform before and went completely by reviews. I'm very glad I did! For more than one year leading up to our big day, we communicated with Kevin via email about logistics planning. Kevin is extremely detailed, prompt and a great communicator all around. When I finally met him in person, he was just great. Fun fact is that he is an accountant by day! Whatever sound needs you have on your wedding day, Rollex can provide it. They brought two sound systems, one for our ceremony and one for our tent during cocktail hour, in addition to an acoustic ovation guitar (that a childhood friend of mine was playing during the ceremony). When I got to the venue 2.5 hours before the start of our ceremony, Rollex had already set up one of the sound systems. That was impressive. I appreciated it that they were on time and on top of things. You will love the grand entrance they do for you - they really get the crowd going and excited. I have a foreign last name that is difficult to pronounce. Rollex got it perfect when they made their announcement of the wedding couple. They are true professionals. They're just good people all around. They learned a new song for our first dance, and also played a beautiful rendition for the father-daughter dance. Then they got everyone on the dance floor for a big group dance before dinner. When they performed after dinner, they were amazing. When I say amazing, I mean that they are so good that they make songs sound better than the original versions. You can tell that they have performed as a group for a long time. They have great chemistry. They even got my grandmother dancing, which I didn't expect to happen at all. I'm out of space, but if you're considering hiring Rollex, just do it! They bring the party! Wedding: 10/14/2017 Rollex are simply the best. They did my sister's wedding six years ago and mine last month, and were the #1 thing people complimented at both events. They bring an unbelievable level of enthusiasm to the stage, getting everyone--even the grandparents!- onto the dance floor. They're great at the hora and other Jewish music too. Wedding: 09/03/2017 Rollex are amazing. They did my sister's wedding 6 years ago and I was thrilled they are still at it so I could hire them for my wedding. I have no idea how they do this every weekend and maintain such a high level of energy and enthusiasm, but I really felt like I was their top priority throughout the process and certainly on the night of. They are the #1 thing our wedding guests have been raving about. It was certainly the only wedding I've ever been to where the bride and groom crowdsurfed! They even did a beautiful job with Hava Nagila. To top it all off, their pricing is great compared to other options. You would be crazy to hire anyone else! Wedding: 06/24/2017 Thank you so much to Rollex for making our wedding reception AMAZING!!! They had all of our guests up and dancing all night and having an absolute blast. Kevin, the band leader, was great throughout the entire process- he allowed us to come check out some of their performances beforehand so we could get a better idea of what we were looking for. He also was knowledgeable with our venue and made recommendations as to which location the band would sound best in. On the day of, we could not have been more pleased with the band. Some of our guests were referring to the lead female singer as Beyonce because she was so talented and amazing. We danced all night and could not have done it without Rollex!! Wedding: 05/13/2017 Is it normal to have a dance party at your wedding BEFORE dinner...nope but the Rolex band was that good people couldn't wait to get up and start dancing. Reviewed On: 02/17/2017 There are not enough words to express how much my husband and I loved having the Rollex Band play at our wedding. They are hands down what made our wedding reception so Amazing!! From the moment we booked them, they were organized, professional and very easy to work with. They got the reception going from the moment the bridal party walked in for introductions. Everyone old and young were up and dancing all night and they sang a large variety of music. Wedding on 11/09/2013 There aren't enough stars available to accurately review Rollex. If I had to sum up Rollex in one word, it would have to be PHENOMENAL. While everything about our wedding went off smoothly and was wonderful, the one defining aspect of the whole evening, which everyone talked about, was THE BAND!! My husband and I had only heard them on video and we went with our gut to book them. Thank god we did because they did not disappoint! From the moment my husband and I met Amber, the lead female singer, in the private room at our venue, we knew she was going to be awesome. Kevin, the bandleader, then came and introduced himself and we knew we were going to have some party! All of our guests were on the dance floor the entire night and could not stop raving about our band. Also, the price they charged for a 9 piece band plus a DJ was practically a steal. And they are a very low-maintenance band, requiring only food, water and soft drinks in their rider. Things that we thought were going to be an issue due to the size of our venue - like parking spots for the band members and the space needed for the band - ended up not being an issue at all. I only wish my husband and I were able to dance the entire night, but as hosts of the evening, we obviously had to talk with our guests for a big chuck of the party. I should also mention that we were Rollex's first gay wedding and they were so psyched to play for us. They told us after how amazing the energy in the room was and I believe it was because of how great they were! I'd recommend Rollex in a heartbeat to anyone looking for an incredible band at a reasonable price to play at their wedding. Not only were they great at keeping in contact before the wedding, but they were very organized and very professional.
