I don’t even know where to start. Honestly, hands down, the best decision we made for our wedding in the MILLIONS of decisions leading up to the big day, was hiring Rollex Band. My partner and I both agreed that the most important part of the wedding for us was the music. And Rollex certainly did not disappoint. From the moment the reception doors opened, Rollex kept the energy up and the dance floor was empty only for the few minutes during dinner service. From motown to contemporary pop to jewish songs, they nailed every single one. They read the audience perfectly and never let the energy slip, even during slow songs. At least 40 people from our wedding contacted us at some point about the band, saying that in all the weddings they had attended, Rollex was by far the best band they had ever heard. Besides their amazing talent, I want to mention two additional things. My partner and I were nervous about finding a band that was comfortable performing at a same-sex wedding. It was never an issue for Rollex. In fact, they made sure that we were comfortable, providing several same-sex wedding references for us to contact. My one comment on this would be for them to make sure the gender pronouns are appropriate for the first dance song. It was a harmless oversight, and was clearly unintended, but thought I would mention it just for same-sex couples out there. The other thing I want to mention is the absolute pleasure it was working with Kevin, Rollex’s business manager. He was completely chill, a welcomed attitude compared to the millions of overly intense crazies out there in the wedding business. He was responsive and answered all our questions, but was never pushy and at the end of the day took much of the work off our plate. He calmly ensured us that they would show up, set up, and rock the house–they sure did!– and helped us relax about all the small details. In sum, if you want a out-of-this world event, HIRE ROLLEX. :-) :-) :
